GUNUNG TANGKUBAN PERAHU (TANGKUBAN PERAHU VOLCANO)
Mountain of Tangkuban Perahu (“upturned boat”) came from the local myth of the legend called Sangkuriang. On the top of the volcano we can see a natural beautiful crater and hike it by walking around or by car. The volcano is about 30 km north from city of Bandung called Lembang. The visitors could be hiking closely to the crater to see an amazing beautiful view. Also, visitors could enjoy natural hot water and smell of sulfur smoke coming from the crater. Tangkuban Perahu Mountain opens daily from 08.00 am – 15.00 pm with price ticket for foreigner is Rp.200.000/person on weekdays and Rp.300.000/person on weekends. |

PICKING YOUR OWN STRAWBERRIES NATURALLY FROM THE GARDEN, LEMBANG OR CIWIDEY. When the tourists make a journey upon the hill of Tangkuban Perahu in North area of Bandung, they can also do some activities such as picking strawberry from the natural garden. The location is on left and right side across road to the Tangkuban Perahu. Tourists choose the strawberry gardens they want with reachable prices. This area is called Lembang where there are a lot of hotel, spa and restaurants around. KAWAH PUTIH (WHITE CRATER), CIWIDEY. This gorgeous crater lake natural created in a volcanic crater is located 50 km from Bandung city to the South. The White Crater lake consists of one of the two lakes which are part of Mount Patuha, a volcanic mountain, but it has no seen any major volcanic activity since 1600. The color of the water is a striking shade of blue and when the weather is cloudy, the whole area is shrouded in mist which gives it a mysterious appearance. This location often becomes spot place of photography and pictures taken for art activities. White Crater opens daily from 07.00 am – 17.00 pm with the ticket price Rp.50.000/person. Entrance fees for car are Rp.150.000/car for up-hill parking area and Rp.6.000/car for down-hill parking area. It will take you around two hours to reach this place from the center of Bandung. |

LAKE PATENGGANG AND RANCABALI TEA PLANTATION, CIWIDEY This scenic and romantic spot is a two-hour drive from Bandung but not far from White Crater and located around 1.600 m above the sea level. The lake is surrounded by beautiful tea garden and green hills. The tea plantations area is called Rancabali Tea Plantations. It was founded in 1966 by Mr. Udjo Ngalagena and his wife Uum Sumiati, with the goal as educational laboratory and learning center to maintain and preserve Sundanese culture, especially angklung. It is located at Jalan Padasuka 118 East Bandung, West Java, this place is surrounded by bamboo trees with fresh air like a village.
