JPTG.- Jakarta is one of the main entrances for foreign tourists who visit Indonesia, especially those who want to plan Java and Bali tours (Java Overland). Based on our experience accompanying foreign tourists usually, they were visited Java and Bali by entering through Jakarta and then traveling overland to Bogor and Bandung.

1. National Monument, Jakarta
The National Monument is a symbol of Jakarta city as the nation's capital. The monument which has a height of 132 meters and is plated with gold on a flame ornament at its peak was built in August 1961 during the reign of the first president of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Soekarno. In the basement of this monument, there’s a museum of the struggle for the independence of Indonesian people and the elevator door to get to the top of the monument. There are food-beverage stalls and souvenirs typical of Jakarta at the outside entrance area and mini train transportation to the main entrance of the basement monument. It's not complete actually when tourists come to Jakarta before visiting this monument as of pride for the residents of Jakarta and Indonesia.
2. Old Town Batavia, Jakarta
Old Town Batavia is an old city complex inherited from the Dutch government in Jakarta. This area was the center of the Dutch government in its time which included Falatehan Square and Old Harbor Sunda Kelapa. Currently, the existing buildings and road layouts are still maintained in the same shape as in their era, there are only a few renovations to strengthen the building structure. In the Falatehan Square area, there are several old buildings such as Old Café Batavia, Falatehan Museum, Puppet Museum, and local tourist attractions along with renting old bicycles called “onthel” to get around. If travelers want to see the overall culture and characteristics of the Indonesian state up close and fast, this place is the best. Taman Mini is a tourist area of 150 hectares or about 1.5 sq km that accommodates traditional houses from 34 provinces throughout Indonesia. Inside that beautiful traditional house, there are characteristics of the local’s cultures of each region. There is also the Indonesian Museum Building, the Transportation Museum, the House of Worship for religions in Indonesia, the “Keong Mas” Theater Building, Komodo Park, Bird Park, Dinosaur Park, Waterpark, Cable Car, and Souvenir Shop. There are also cultural arts performances such as traditional dance, wayang performances, and other cultural arts scheduled in one month.
4. Tea Plantation Puncak, Bogor (West Java)
This tea garden is located in the mountainous area of Bogor which has very natural beauty. The hills and winding roads accompanied by the cool highland air are enough to relax a tired mind and always make foreign tourists curious to visit it. The shady and beautiful atmosphere is enough to make foreign tourists linger in this place. 6. Saung Angklung Mang Udjo, Bandung (West Java)
Saung Angklung Mang Udjo had been a tourist destination or place that was founded by Mr. Udjo Ngalagena with his wife Uum Sumiati in 1966 to introduce and preserve the original art music instrument of the West Java community, namely “angklung”. The musical instruments made of bamboo are favored by tourists from all over the world, especially from Europe (Netherlands, Germany, England) and Asia. Kawah Putih is located in the highlands of southern Bandung. This mountain crater is also a sulfur crater that resembles a large blue lake with billowing sulfur smoke.
