(Updated to 4 October 2021). The latest news in the last week about “happenings” in Jakarta and Indonesia is interesting to watch for all travelers who love Indonesia. We all have long missed exploring natural and cultural tourism throughout Indonesia. However, because the pandemic is still raging, it would be better if we listened and refrained from stay at home while doing what useful for us to do for ourselves, family and others.

Almost every year Bali gets the best awards in the field of tourism by various tourism agencies and travelers around the world.
This time, Tripadvisor as the largest and most recognized travel site in the world again collects and summarizes all reviews, ratings and sharing about the best and most unique popular destinations according to the global travelers version. This data resulted in 25 Best Popular Destinations in the World 2021 Tripadvisor Traveler’s Choice.
JPTG.-- Covid-19 pandemic has changed the habits of local people in traveling. Adaptation to new habits in the form of wearing masks, maintaining cleanliness and social distancing are important things when traveling on tourism. Security, safety and healthy are the keywords that everyone doing today to be comfortable and safe in traveling.
Based on our observations as local residents, during the corona pandemic from the beginning of March 2020 to the present, there are 3 types of travel which have always been used by the Indonesian people in traveling on tourism every weekend. They are: Staycation, Wellness Tour and Short Roadtrip.

JPTG.-- Indonesia improving to develop its tourism and attract as many foreign tourists as possible. Foreign travelers are expected to get many choices of world-class tourist destinations to be visited later along with qualified tourism hospitality and facilities.
The area of 5 super priority tourist destinations which is estimated to cost an investment of up to Rp. 30 trillion likely to be enjoyed on 2023 or even sooner. The focus of accelerating development runs parallel to saving other tourist destinations affected by the Covid-19 pandemic by continuing to build and maintain the existing tourism areas.

JPTG. -- The National Vaccination Program to prevent the spread of Covid-19 virus in Indonesia has started on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. The program was marked by the first injection of Sinovac vaccine in Indonesia to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo. With this moment the plan to inject the corona vaccine for all Indonesians for free was began.
This vaccination program is expected to reach the target of 70% Indonesia's population by the end of 2021 or mid-2022 which will create herd immunity or group immunity and will restore various sectors of the economic including tourism sector.
All parties involved in the tourism industry such as governments, institutions, hotels, airlines, tourist destination, transportation, restaurant, travel agent to local guides are hopes that tourism will recover soon and return to normal as before.
