What exactly is the CHSE?
The CHSE itself is a certification program from the Government of Indonesia that is given to players in tourism activities who have implemented Health Protocols related to the prevention of the Covid-19 virus so that travelers feel safe and comfortable when visiting object of tourism destination and in the context of Indonesia Safety & Healthy Tourism.
The scope of the CHSE protocol includes:
1. Cleanliness: Perform personal cleaning, facilities and infrastructure.
2. Healthy (Health): Avoiding physical contact, food management, and providing health facilities.
3. Safety (Safe): Have an adequate procedure for escape and means of dealing with disasters.
4. Environmental Sustainability: Utilizing environmentally friendly concepts, including waste management and evaluation.
On the later all traveler can monitor which destinations and tourism objects throughout Indonesia that having received CHSE security certification from the Government of the Republic of Indonesia through letters and stickers attached. With this CHSE, its hoped that it can save world of tourism businesses and increase the confidence of tourists to travel in Indonesia while implementing health protocols in the midst of a pandemic.
Launching from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy CHSE website, tourism business players such as hotels, restaurants, tourist destinations, MICE (Meeting Incentive Convention Exhibition), rafting, cottage tours, diving tours, golf tours, and tourism transportation businesses can get a free CHSE certificate from government to provide guarantees for tourists on implementation of cleanliness, health, safety and environmental sustainability.
In its journey, thousands of tourism businesses in Indonesia have been CHSE certified with details of 2,011 hotels / homestays, 2,419 culinary businesses, 258 tourist destinations, 30 transportation businesses, 38 sports facilities spread across 34 provinces and 352 districts / cities.
So, before you as a traveler visit some tourist attraction or destination, there is nothing wrong to monitor the CHSE certification first.
